Champlin Customs Gallery

In addition to running Promoted Pawn, the owner, Nick Champlin, has been a full time proffesional gunsmith since 2005. This gallery shows a limited and random selection of his work. Ballpark prices are included when applicable.

Above is shown a Magnum Research Lone Eagle in .223. The cannon breach allows for M4 carbine ballistics in a very compact package. Sadly the triggers on these are trash. The trigger was improved from both a performance and a safety standpoint. The pistol was sold, as shown, for $700.

This WWII M2 machine gun was repaired and refurbished.

This one of a kind pistol was created in the summer of 2025. It was built on a Kel Tec P50 receiver and included a robust FRT linkage with out-of-battery preventor. Kel Tec recently redesigned their P50 into a weapon with the same features and form factor. This pistol and unlimited exclusive rights to the FRT device were sold to a collector for $5k.

A Ruger No.1 Falling Block Rifle was rechambered for .277 Fury. The action was polished and hardened with a titanium nitride treatment and the trigger was set to a crisp 3Lb. The ballpark price for this work is $2,500. We work on 1885 falling block rifles too.

This Stargate Deployment Package includes a Delta Trigger, US Government 'Black Reticle' sight with blue illumination module, custom padded case, and custom laser engraving on the bolt. It was made to customer's specifications for $3000.
