After a year of ownership I've got around 500 backpacking miles with this knife and have used it to chop down some sizable trees and make an impressive array of hand carved items, including an ash long bow I fashioned out of 9 inch thick log!
It's really the first 'Camp Knife' I've tried that has decent chopping power. This is a heavy duty knife you can baton the hell out of, and the blade profile is really great for finesse work and whittling.
The sheath is very practical and I've had zero issues carrying this knife flopping around or getting in the way when worn on the hip.
An instant classic, I can't recommend this knife highly enough.
